Quantitative Research Analyst

Description:

We meet our clients' critical information requirements, while rigorously enforcing the highest ethical and methodological standards, by implementing a unique research approach: Face-to-Face Research Analysis (F2RA) which positions Glevum to collect and analyze highly sensitive population focused data, while protecting the safety and anonymity of our respondents and interviewers.

Below is a summary of duties. Individual responsibilities will vary depending upon job level and expertise.

Duties:

1. Support clients to fully understand, develop and finalize their information requirements from a sound and ethical survey methodological perspective.

2. Contribute to development of a research collection plan that ensures all available research methods including surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews and input from subject matter experts are fully utilized.

3. Develop culturally and demographically appropriate survey instruments and sample plans.

4. Task research assets in support of client information requirements.

5. Task and train indigenous Field Research Teams (FRT) and supervise their activities as appropriate.

6. Support RAMT to fully understand and exploit the survey methodology implications and opportunities of qualitative research efforts.

7. Supervise coding and data processing and determine the reliability and accuracy of collected research.

8. Produce a methods report based on the version provided by the FRT.

9. Conduct detailed methodologically sound social science analysis of collected research to determine the implications and trends that the data reveal. The most important task is the rapid production of top line findings.

10. Produce and present written reports and briefings on research findings to clients and authorized U.S. entities.

11. Operate professionally, maturely and effectively in an environment where work and living arrangements are heavily intertwined.

Qualifications:

General Requirements for Quantitative Research Analyst:
• MA in survey methodology or a related field with a strong survey research background or a BA and a minimum of 2+ years' academic or commercial experience in survey research.

• Must be able to use, expertly, SPSS including SPSS Syntax and ideally not essentially SAS. Knowledge of geo-coding for opinion mapping a plus.

• Must have experience using basic descriptive and inferential statistics.

• Must be able to convert SPSS files into Excel spreadsheets and develop relevant survey type graphs and charts in PowerPoint, Excel or SPSS.

• Must be U.S. Citizen and have an active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
